Follow The Stars
Follow The Stars TO GRACE BAY BEACH Plunge into a tropical world of shimmering white sands and aquamarine waters, where lapping waves and swaying palms (and watermelon margaritas!) soothe your mind and soul. Seven Stars Resort & Spa, anchoring Grace Bay Beach, is Turks & Caicos’ premier resort, where white-glove service, five-star dining and a bevy of water activities will help you find the islands’ rhythm. Days melt into bliss here, and every guest leaves us feeling fully relaxed and rejuvenated.
REACH FOR The Stars We take our name from the seven stars of the Pleiades, a storied constellation that, in Greek mythology, represents the seven daughters of the god Atlas and the goddess Pleione: Maia, Electra, Taygete, Celaeno, Alcyone, Sterope and Merope. The cluster is among the nearest to the Earth, visible to the naked eye, and so it’s no wonder that this constellation has earned a special place in many cultures. For example, the Masai people of Africa saw the Pleiades as a group of cattle, while the Inca of South America believed that the constellation protected seeds and farming. It is said that nowhere else do the Pleiades shine as brightly as over Turks & Caicos. Naturally, we could think of no better name to capture our commitment to creating a resort experience that shines above all others.

PARADISE FOUND
Turks & Caicos
The joys of a tropical paradise await you. Whether you’re looking to go horseback riding, reef fishing, or cave exploring, our Concierge will be delighted to customize your arrangements prior to or after your arrival.
The Turks & Caicos Islands consist of 40 different islands, only eight of which are inhabited. The islands are almost as diverse as the people who inhabit them. From the main tourist center of Providenciales and the quiet and tranquil islands of North and Middle Caicos to the historic capital island of Grand Turk, each offers a different experience and a unique character.
Providenciales is Turks & Caicos’ third-largest island and is home to exceptional dining, great shopping and world-class beaches, including Grace Bay Beach. Grand Turk and Salt Cay offer history with great Bermudian architecture and rustic charm, as well as some of the best diving in Turks & Caicos.
Middle Caicos and North Caicos represent the best of the environment, with lush green woodlands, the largest cave network in the Caribbean (on Middle Caicos) and a vast array of plant and birdlife.
South Caicos is the center for fishing, with lobster and conch exported from the island, the historic Cockburn Harbour and the natural phenomenon of the boiling hole. This small yet friendly island offers many secluded beaches with awe-inspiring views of the turquoise waters and surrounding islands.
Traveling between the islands is easy for visitors. From Providenciales, most of the other islands are accessible by boat or by plane, with an average flight time of 10-25 minutes. There is also a regular ferry service offering travel between North Caicos and Middle Caicos.
CULTURE &
Culture & History
History
The name Turks is derived from the indigenous Turk’s head “fez” cactus, and the name Caicos is a Lucayan term “caya hico,” meaning string of islands. Columbus was said to have discovered the islands in 1492, but some still argue that Ponce de Leon arrived first. Whoever it was, the first people to truly discover the islands were the Taino Indians, who unfortunately left little behind beyond their ancient utensils. The Lucayans eventually replaced the Tainos but, by the middle of the 16th century, they too had disappeared, victims of Spanish enslavement and imported disease.
The 17th century saw the arrival of settlers from Bermuda, who established themselves on Grand Turk, Salt Cay and South Caicos. They used enslaved people to rake salt for British colonies in America, and were later joined by British Loyalists fleeing the American Revolution.
The economy revolved around the rich cotton and sisal plantations but, due to competition and the island’s thin soil, the plantations slowly deteriorated, and finally perished in a hurricane in 1813. Solar salt became the island’s economic engine.
In 1766, the islands became part of The Bahamas colony, but integration attempts failed and were abandoned in 1848. London-Kingston boats frequently visited the islands, so links with Jamaica were well developed for the Turks & Caicos annexation to Jamaica in 1874. After Jamaica’s independence in 1962, Turks & Caicos Islands were loosely associated with The Bahamas before becoming a British Crown Colony in 1973.

OUR HOTEL
Protecting the Paradise We Call Home
Long before carbon footprints and sustainability became a shared priority for so many of us, Seven Stars Resort & Spa was committed to preserving and protecting the beauty of Turks & Caicos, Grace Bay Beach and the nature that surrounds Providenciales. Over the years, the resort has helped lead the way by implementing thoughtful, eco-friendly practices that are making a true impact.
Plastic a Thing of the Past
Over the last several years, Seven Stars Resort has phased out plastic bottles and straws property-wide, replacing them with reusable water bottles provided to guests at check-in and refillable glass bottles in every guest room as part of turn-down service. In addition, five water stations were installed throughout the resort. Also gone are plastic cups and bottles at the bars, gym, tennis courts and towel hut. Total savings? More than 100,000 plastic bottles and over 300,000 plastic straws saved annually.
Water-Saving Innovation
With only 43 days of rain on average per year, water conservation in Turks & Caicos is key. So, while we are fortunate to enjoy sunshine virtually year-round, it makes water an even more precious resource on the island. Through innovation, the Seven Stars Resort team figured out how to save and repurpose water daily via an underground rainwater cistern that helps capture what is needed to maintain the property’s lush landscaping and dramatically cut down on water usage. Total savings? Seven Stars’ 750,000-gallon rainwater tank collects 6.8 million gallons of water each year.
Culinary Team Turned Farmers Ensure True Sustainable Dining
Did you know that most of Turks & Caicos sits on limestone? That makes farming and agriculture a challenge, and results in more than 90% of what is consumed on the island relying on imports, which is not only costly but often loaded with pesticides and chemicals to help them make the trip. Once again, we innovated and found a solution: a hydroponic container farm that we manage and operate on property. The result: With space equal to 2.5 acres of farmland, our water-positive hydroponic container farm produces more water than it uses while growing the leafy greens, herbs and microgreens served across each of our restaurants with zero pesticides or fertilizer, further lowering our carbon footprint while ensuring the freshest and most flavorful ingredients.
We are indeed fortunate to be located on one of the world’s most acclaimed beaches and along the island’s Princess Alexandra nature preserve, and as such, we will always embrace our role as stewards of our beautiful-by-nature surroundings and continue to actively look for ways to enhance and improve our green initiatives.

Q&A Edwin Gallardo
Q&A Edwin Gallardo Executive Chef
Q How would you describe your culinary philosophy, and how does it come to life here at Seven Stars Resort & Spa?
A My philosophy is rooted in the belief that the finest ingredients should speak for themselves; I strive for simple yet deeply flavorful dishes where quality is never compromised. At Seven Stars, this comes to life by balancing the vibrant, local soul of the islands with a refined, international perspective. Whether you are craving a Caribbean classic or a global favorite, our goal is to create a plate that feels both familiar and extraordinary for every guest who joins our table.
Q What makes dining in Turks and Caicos unique compared to other luxury destinations?
A What sets our islands apart is the seamless marriage of world-class standards with a distinct local soul. We love taking a global favorite and giving it a Providenciales twist—for instance, elevating a classic burger with a signature house-made jerk rub and perfectly crispy bacon for that smoky, island heat. By blending these vibrant Caribbean flavors with international staples, we create a dining experience that is both sustainably minded and consistently unforgettable.
Q How do local ingredients and Caribbean influences shape your menus across the resort’s restaurants?
A Our menus are a love letter to the islands, built around incredible local partnerships like TCI Mushrooms and Sky Farm. I’m particularly inspired by the Azas Mix—a beautiful blend of golden oyster and phoenix mushrooms—which we pair with farm-fresh eggs and Cornish hens across all our outlets, from The Deck to our newest addition, The Clubhouse. We also take great pride in our sustainability, harvesting crisp lettuces from our own hydroponic farm and fresh greens and herbs from our rooftop garden all year round; it ensures that every bite, especially during our Wednesday Caribbean BBQ Night, is as vibrant and fresh as the island itself.
Q Can you share a signature dish that truly represents your style and the spirit of the resort?
A For me, it is our Rack of Lamb. It is grilled to a perfect medium-rare and drizzled with a simple, fragrant blend of garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and rosemary harvested from our own rooftop garden. While it sounds simple, it is a highly technical dish that balances bold, earthy flavors; we serve it alongside a rich, creamy truffle risotto, sautéed local mushrooms, and crisp grilled asparagus, all finished with a refined olive jus. It is a dish that truly captures our philosophy—honest, high-quality ingredients prepared with precision to create something that is, quite frankly, mouthwatering.
Q Sustainability is increasingly important to travelers, how are you incorporating sustainable practices into your kitchens?
A Sustainability here is a creative, full-circle journey; for instance, we use shells from our locally sourced eggs as fertilizer and repurpose vegetable scraps into compost for our rooftop garden. We ensure nothing goes to waste by sharing surplus harvests from our hydroponic farm across all our dining outlets, from The Deck to The Clubhouse. Beyond the garden, our ten-year partnership with local fisherman Pierre Tiadel allows us to offer guests abundant, responsibly sourced seafood, encouraging a dining experience that respects and preserves the natural beauty of the Turks and Caicos.
Q What kind of dining experiences can guests expect beyond the plate, for example private dining, beach dinners, or curated tasting menus?
A For those seeking the ultimate in exclusivity, we offer a seasonal menu in our private Tasting Room at Seven, where up to ten guests can enjoy a deeply personalized approach to food and beverage. Throughout the week, we celebrate variety—from our Friday Fish Fry at The Deck with locally caught snapper and others, plus live entertainment, to Sushi Soiree Tuesdays and our unique Sunday Indian Menu at The Farm. Whether you are enjoying our new Brunch & Bubbles (Friday–Sunday) or we are catering for your private jet, our goal is to provide a world-class, sustainable culinary journey that begins the moment you arrive.
Q How do you ensure your culinary offerings cater to a global audience while still maintaining a strong sense of place?
A Our strength lies in our team—a brilliant fusion of local talent and international expertise. This collaborative approach to flavor profiling allows us to elevate every dish, as we are constantly exploring and tasting locally grown materials to see how they can be creatively reimagined for our guests. It is this dedication to innovation and quality that led us to be honored at the TCHTA Star Awards, where we recently celebrated winning Best Chef of the Year and Best Hotel of the Year. These accolades reflect our commitment to remaining the premier dining destination on the island, offering a world-class experience that never loses its island soul.
Q For guests visiting for the first time, what is one must-try dish or dining experience they should not miss?
A For a truly refined journey, a dinner at Seven is essential; it is the heartbeat of our culinary philosophy, where our extensive wine list and sophisticated flavors create a multi-sensory experience. If you’re looking for a more relaxed, social vibe, our daily brunch at The Farm is a local favorite that shouldn’t be missed, followed by a sunset happy hour at The Terrace. Each venue offers a different perspective of Seven Stars, ensuring that from your first morning coffee to your final nightcap, every sense is fully engaged.

Q&A Mia Martensson
Q&AMia Martensson
Head Sommelier
Q How would you describe your approach to curating the wine and beverage program at the resort?
A There are a few approaches to our wine program: Based in the Caribbean with hot climate and three restaurants with outdoor dining, the focus is on fresh, crisp, easy-drinking wines and sparkling selections. The red wine offers a balanced range from lighter-bodied styles to fuller, more structured wines. At Seven, we offer a fine dining experience in an air-conditioned setting, the wine program is classic in style, with depth across countries, regions, varietals, and vintages. For our resort owners, we curate tailored selections that reflect their personal favorites while balancing with new, interesting, and thoughtfully chosen wine offerings.
Q What role does wine play in shaping the overall dining experience at Seven Stars?
A Wine helps to highlight the unique menu offerings across all four restaurants. We follow the season working with local lobster, grouper and conch, while helping guests discover new and interesting wines.
Q How do you design wine pairings that complement both the cuisine and the Caribbean setting?
A Each of our wine lists is individually curated to complement the identity of our four distinct restaurants, with a focus on offering interesting and thoughtfully selected wines. We work closely with importers on the island to source new producers from around the world and continually introduce exciting discoveries to our guests. Recently, we introduced South African wines to the island, offering excellent value alongside a sense of exploration and discovery, encouraging guests to try something new and unexpected.
Q How do you balance international favorites with more unique or boutique selections?
A Our goal is to maintain a balanced wine list that showcases both classic wine-producing countries such as France, Spain, and Italy, alongside selections from emerging and exciting regions including the USA, Argentina, Greece, and South Africa. The wine list is continually evolving to remain aligned with developments and trends within the wine world, allowing us sommeliers to stay engaged, informed, and focused on offering guests a dynamic and thoughtful selection.
Q Can you share a memorable pairing or guest experience that stands out to you?
A Fried chicken paired with Champagne creates a perfect combination, where the richness of the chicken contrasts beautifully with the crisp, fresh acidity of the champagne. A match made in heaven.
Q What wine or drink would you personally recommend to someone visiting Turks and Caicos for the first time?
A Since no wine is produced locally in Turks and Caicos, we are proud to showcase the island’s own spirit, Bambarra Rum, named after the famous shipwreck off Middle Caicos that later gave Bambarra Beach its name. For first-time visitors to the island, enjoying a traditional rum punch made with Bambarra Rum is a must — a true taste of Turks and Caicos and an essential part of the local experience.
Q Beyond wine, are there any other beverage experiences guests should not miss during their stay?
A Another great local beverage experience is Turks Head Brewery, the island’s local brewery. They offer an excellent brewery tour where guests can learn about the brewing process, followed by a tasting of their locally crafted beers. It is a fantastic way to experience another side of Turks and Caicos’ local culture and is definitely not to be missed.
Flight Club:
A TASTING TOUR OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST WINE REGIONS
Replace this paragraph with: From the novice to the aficionado, Seven Stars Resort & Spa guests are wine lovers at heart, inspired in part by the resort’s artfully curated collection of wines from some of the world’s most renowned producers.
To inspire curiosity and deepen their guests’ connection and appreciation for wine, Resort Sommelier Mia Martensson created Flight Club, a pre-dinner experience that takes guests on a delightful tasting journey through some of the most exceptional vineyards and producers.
Each month, Flight Club focuses on a different region, showcasing a selection of white and red varietals paired with elevated bar bites.
With a focus on lesser-known labels and micro-vineyards, the tasting experience is hosted by a member of the culinary team who shares stories and insights about the geography, origins and agricultural influences of the region and the distinctive elements of each featured wine.
Flight Club is held on Wednesday evenings at The Bar at Seven with wine-food pairing experiences rotating every month. Open to guests 18 and over. Book reservations through OpenTable for the Bar. Walk-ins also welcome.

LEARN HOW TO MAKE YOUR FAVORITE SEVEN STARS RESORT COCKTAIL
For years, Seven Stars Resort heard guests rave about the cocktails they enjoyed during their stay, and how much they missed them once they got home. To help them continue to enjoy and share their vacation memories until their next visit, they created the Seven Stars Cocktail Master Class, a weekly program that has become a popular favorite among guests.
Offered twice a week as a pre-dinner experience on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5:00pm, the class is hosted by a master mixologist at The Bar at Seven and includes a relaxed and interactive how-to demonstration and tasting of one of five (rotating) signature cocktails, chef-prepared bar snacks, and a take-home cocktail recipe card. As part of the experience, guests also receive a how-to bartending primer with plenty of insider tips and tricks to prepare tasty cocktails like a pro.
The master mixology class offers an alternating schedule on how to prepare five distinctive cocktails. Featured in the series are Seven Signature Espresso Martini, Seven Margarita, Caicos Cooler, French Martini and Maverick.
Our mixologist is also open to special requests, provided the cocktail preparation and execution is suitable for a class setting. Elevated bar snacks served during each class.
The Seven Stars Cocktail Master Class is $25* per person and is open to guests 18 and over. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to “reserve their bar stool” in advance with the concierge. For groups of 10 or more guests, private master classes are also available.

QLOCKTWO BE PRESENT In an ever-accelerating world, there is value in consciously pausing. Time itself is not our scarcest resource - our perception of it is. QLOCKTWO presents time as human culture once understood it: not as numbers, but as an experience. A gentle reminder to pause, become aware of the present moment, and be present. Handcrafted in Germany with precision, attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for materiality, QLOCKTWO creates objects that transform the way we experience time. Founded by artists and designers Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk, QLOCKTWO combines innovative time visualization, contemporary design, and exceptional craftsmanship. EARTH - The Icon of Origin Born from the radical question, “What is time?”, QLOCKTWO EARTH has become a modern design icon. Instead of hands or digits, it illuminates the moment in words: “IT IS HALF PAST EIGHT” Available in more than twenty languages and a curated palette of exceptional finishes — from pure white and oxidized steel to raw stone and hand-applied gold leaf — each piece reflects the individuality of its owner. Whether in a lakeside villa, a mountain retreat, or a city penthouse, QLOCKTWO EARTH transforms interiors into spaces of calm, presence, and design. www.qlocktwo.com 42 EXPERIENCES
MOON - The Rhythm of Time
For centuries, the moon has fascinated humanity. A constant companion to Earth, it has shaped our understanding of time, inspired countless stories, and connected cultures across the world.
QLOCKTWO MOON visualizes one of our oldest measures of time through 28 illuminated lunar phases, making the rhythm of the month visible and tangible. Inspired by the celestial cycle that has guided cultures for generations, it reconnects us with a more natural experience of time. Hand-finished in lacquer, platinum, or moon gold, each piece combines German craftsmanship with sculptural design, transforming the passage of time into a moment of reflection. MOON does not measure time. It mesmerizes it, making the present itself feel eternal.
W - The Wristwatch
QLOCKTWO W brings the iconic word-based time display to the wearer’s wrist, transforming time into a personal experience. Reduced to the essentials, QLOCKTWO W combines timeless aesthetics with iconic design. A simple flick of the wrist reveals the time in words, creating a subtle moment of awareness throughout the day. A quiet companion that invites its wearer to pause, reflect, and be present.
Its integrated moon phase display brings together the worlds of EARTH and MOON, creating a seamless connection between the rhythm of the day and the rhythm of the month.
Each QLOCKTWO is handcrafted, numbered, and individually finished — no two are ever alike. Surfaces are treated like canvases, reflecting a singular devotion to materiality, craftsmanship, and detail.
Winner of more than 40 international design awards, QLOCKTWO stands as a symbol of a new precision — one that measures not seconds, but moments.
The more you try to grasp time, the more it disappears. What remains is the beauty of the now.

Turks and Caicos for Every Traveler
Upon arrival in Turks and Caicos, the colors are often the most striking feature. Brilliant turquoise water, crisp blue skies, impossibly green vegetation and pure white sand make an immediate impression. But beyond the postcard beauty lies something more nuanced: a destination that reshapes itself around the traveler.
Turks and Caicos offers more than just one kind of vacation. It is a choose-your-own-adventure story set across 40 stunning islands and cays, only eight of which are inhabited. For travelers in search of romance, adventure, solitude or discovery, Turks and Caicos meets every visitor exactly where they are.

Romantic Getaways for Couples
Travelers in search of romance often head for Grace Bay, and there is a reason why this extraordinarily beautiful expanse of white sand and turquoise water on the northeast coast of Providenciales is the setting for so many honeymoons. The water here is often impossibly calm, the days unhurried and the horizon wide open.
Forbes Point and the aptly named Sunset Beach are among the Grace Bay spots most renowned for their stunning sunsets. The tranquil bay is also perfectly safe for swimming.
For many guests in Turks and Caicos, the real adventure involves leaving the shore behind. A private sailboat or catamaran charter at sunset adds a cinematic climax to a romantic day on the water, as the skies above the Caribbean shift from gold to violet. For a more dramatic perspective, consider a helicopter tour that sweeps over the shallow banks and expansive beaches.
YOUR PRIVATE ESCAPE. YOUR WAY.Experience luxury and adventure on our 30ft private charter with activities like Deep-Sea Fishing, Romantic Sunset Cruises, and Snorkeling. Enjoy bespoke ocean experiences exclusively for your group, free from crowds, showcasing Turks and Caicos at its best.
Dining is another highlight of Turks and Caicos. On Providenciales, dining options range from palm-shaded beachside shacks to elegant eateries that serve an elevated take on local delicacies. Seafood is a staple almost everywhere — especially conch, which finds its way into bright, citrusy ceviche and crunchy, fried fritters.
- Deep-Sea & Reef Fishing Battle big game fish or reel in dinner with top-tier gear and local expertise.
- Cruising & Snorkeling Dive into pristine turquoise waters and explore vibrant, secluded coral reefs entirely at your own pace.

Kid-Friendly Family Fun
Traveling with children changes the equation, but Turks and Caicos adapts easily to family adventures. Calm waters and safe beaches, especially on Providenciales, allow families to explore the coast with more freedom and less worry.
One of the simplest and most reliably entertaining family outings is a glass-bottom boat ride. Kids and adults alike can enjoy a vivid look at the coral gardens and colorful fish below the surface of Turks and Caicos’ waters, with no snorkeling skills required. Many clear-bottom boat tours are offered in the Leeward region of Providenciales, exploring the mangrove creeks and channels.
For those who are ready to get in the water, Bight Reef is a prime destination. From lounging under an umbrella on Bight Beach to snorkeling along the coral ridge that extends 350 feet out from the shore, the area offers ample opportunity for families to become immersed in the underwater world.
Older children and those with a taste for adventure might enjoy a boat trip to Little Water Cay, which is a sanctuary for endangered Turks and Caicos rock iguanas. Conch Bar Caves, with their dramatic limestone formations, are another adventurous family destination, part exploration and part geology lesson.
Adventure and Solitude for Solo Travelers
Exploring Turks and Caicos solo offers the ultimate freedom to discover the islands without a fixed schedule or itinerary, embracing new experiences as they present themselves. Providenciales is by no means the only place to explore — but it is a good place to start.
The main island of the archipelago, Providenciales, offers much more than the beaches and resorts for which it is most known. There are cultural events and festivals, beach barbecues and cookouts to attend and wild attractions like Northwest Point National Park and the Bird Rock Trail. And while Turks and Caicos is not really known as a party place, Providenciales does offer the most significant nightlife scene.
Solo travelers can also explore other islands unencumbered by responsibility. On Grand Turk, the pace of life moves a little slower than on Providenciales, with quiet streets lined by pastel-hued buildings, and the region’s unique history of salt raking and shipwrecks on display at the Turks and Caicos National Museum.
Island hopping also brings the differences between Turks and Caicos’ eight inhabited islands into sharp relief. The green and spacious North Caicos offers stunning beaches without the large-scale developments found elsewhere in the archipelago. The wild and rugged Middle Caicos offers solitude without isolation — around 200 people call it home.
Islands for Every Traveler
Many things make Turks and Caicos special, including its adaptability. Come as a couple, and these islands offer romance. Come as a family, and they soften into relaxation. Come alone, and they provide both quiet and connection.

Four Seasons of Romance Trends at Seven Stars Resort & Spa
The plush white sands alone could convince anyone to hold a wedding on Grace Bay Beach. Seven Stars Resort and Spa, however, offers so much more than meets the eye. In its privileged location, the setting alone does so much of the work, creating a romantic ambiance that sets the tone for an unforgettable ceremony. The resort provides many of the amenities that couples desire for their special day, with the option to host anything from a small gathering on the sand to a more lavish, multiday affair across multiple locations on the property.

Making the Most of the Property
Seven Stars Resort and Spa is structured so that couples can make the best possible use of its distinct spaces. They can hold ceremonies on the beach, for example, where a simple bamboo arch and sheer white draping can be set against the water. They can also incorporate local flowers to add color, as well as the signature Turks and Caicos character that brought visitors to the island for the occasion. Because the resort is so open, there is plenty of space to accommodate even fluctuating guest lists.
Receptions can shift to areas such as The Deck, the property’s open-air restaurant offering splendid water views. There is also the option to rent a private section of the beach, with amenities like lighting, flooring and seating brought in to create a fully customized environment for everyone’s comfort and enjoyment. There are plenty of indoor options for those who would prefer to bridge the gap between the interior and exterior. Restaurants can provide a controlled environment for a formal meal, or open-air dining illuminated by string lighting can create just the right ambiance for a special island celebration. The wedding can truly be as intimate and secluded or as lively and energetic as a couple prefers. S E V E N S TA R S R E S O R T & S PA 55

From Season to Season
While Turks and Caicos is pleasantly warm year-round, the change of season can mark a slight change in the forecast from time to time. Light, wind and rainfall can all play integral roles in determining when and where the festivities take place. Spring and early summer ceremonies often have the advantage of longer daylight hours, while late-afternoon events give way to romantic sunset receptions by the water’s edge. In these months, lighter and more airy materials can resonate nicely with the climate — think breezy table linens and open structures to keep the flow open and allow the pleasant weather to shine.
When humidity and occasional rainfall pick up later during the summer and in early fall, it is still possible to enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors by renting a tent or incorporating a covered dining area into the festivities. This allows for an open perimeter without sacrificing the views that make weddings here so spectacular. Winter weddings, by contrast, benefit from milder temperatures and relatively steady conditions. This makes it possible to hold a late- or early-year wedding outside, with the option to incorporate warming details like candles and lanterns to both illuminate and add a hint of coziness.
From the Classic to the Contemporary
Breezy, earthy and inviting, Seven Stars Resort and Spa brims with an underlying neutrality that makes it an ideal foundation for so many wedding aesthetics. Couples who favor a classic look can easily achieve it in this simple palette, whether the goal is to hold a forever-timeless, all-white ceremony or add just a couple of pops of color.
Those who prefer something more contemporary can easily create visual intrigue by introducing contrasting elements to their plan. The neutral palette serves as a fitting background for brighter or more dramatic elements, from vibrant island flowers to rich metallic accents. Even more unexpected designs, like rustic-inspired or flashy styles, are easy to achieve with the right settings and accents. Many planners recommend booking vendors for imported items well in advance of the ceremony to ensure that everything arrives right on time.

The Food and the Tunes
The Perfect Setting
There is plenty of entertainment available in Turks and Caicos, too, and couples will have their choice of jazz, pop, rock and many other genres. The open-air environment makes this an especially suitable environment to book a live band or a DJ to keep guests going through the festivities.
Dining at Seven Stars Resort and Spa is equally diverse. Access to fresh seafood, along with Caribbean and international influences, ensures a delicious menu with options for all diets. The resort’s restaurants, including Seven and The Deck, provide both formal plated options and more relaxed serving styles based on the event's structure.
With so much space available, Seven Stars Resort and Spa serves as a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. As special for guests as for couples, it is certain to make a romantic occasion even more memorable.

Diving into Turks and Caicos
The turquoise waters of Turks and Caicos have a magnetic pull that beckons to adventurous travelers. Some places might be best experienced with toes in the sand and a cold beverage in hand, but not here. The ethereal shimmer of aquamarine flats and deep blue reefs isn’t just a backdrop for a vacation; it’s an invitation to experience a deeper connection with these waters. An invitation to dive in and discover the wild world that awaits beneath their surface.
Aquatic Adventures: Salt Spray and Adrenaline
Some people come to Turks and Caicos seeking tranquility, and some come seeking adventure. For those who find themselves in the latter camp, water sports offer a thrilling way to experience the beauty of the beaches and bays while also experiencing a surge of adrenaline.
Parasailing and kiteboarding harness the power of the Caribbean winds to propel guests high into the air, hundreds of feet above the powder-white sand and endless blue of Grace Bay. Both offer a thrilling sensory experience, and both are available on the main island of Providenciales. Parasailing is the more beginner-friendly of the two, but lessons and equipment rentals for kiteboarding newcomers are also available on Providenciales.
For those who prefer to stay on the water, banana boat excursions offer the experience of skimming and bouncing playfully across the waves aboard an inflatable steed. It’s also an excellent kid-friendly activity for families. Turks and Caicos also offers a wide range of other high-energy water sports opportunities, from jet ski tours and rentals to wakeboarding and tubing.
The stunning underwater world that surrounds Turks and Caicos is ripe for exploration.
Below the Surface: Snorkel and Snuba
The stunning underwater world that surrounds Turks and Caicos is ripe for exploration. Visitors to that world may see sea turtles patrolling sea grass beds, rays fanning their graceful wings, and a myriad of colorful reef fish. It’s an incredible place for snorkeling, and many of the best reefs are near the main island of Providenciales.
Providenciales’ two centrally-located beach reefs are Smith’s Reef and the Bight Reef (also known as Coral Gardens). Both are easily accessible from shore, and both offer a wealth of colorful marine life. Many farther-flung sites, like Northwest Point and the Leeward Cut Reef along the outskirts of Grace Bay, are better accessed via a guided snorkeling boat charter.
For those who wish to explore deeper sites more freely, but lack scuba experience, there’s another option—snuba diving. Unlike scuba diving, which requires divers to carry their own self-contained air supply, snuba allows divers to breathe below the surface while tethered to a float.

Eco Encounters: Quiet Wonders in the Mangroves and Cays Teeming with life below their shallow surface, the Turks and Caicos wetlands offer vast expanses of glassy water that invite paddling. Guided eco-tours take adventurers into the twisting water channels of the mangrove estuaries, which are essential breeding habitats for many of the creatures that populate the surrounding seas. Visitors to these marvelous places may spot juvenile nurse and lemon sharks as well as starfish, stingrays, upside-down jellyfish, sea turtles and conchs. A wide array of bird species also hunt and nest in mangrove areas, including herons, flamingos, oystercatchers, ospreys and pelicans. There are countless outstanding places to explore via kayak or stand-up paddleboard throughout Turks and Caicos. Princess Alexandra Nature Reserve, off the eastern Leeward side of Providenciales, is one of the most popular, with uninhabited islands like Mangrove Cay, Donna Cay and Little Water Cay harboring an array of juvenile marine life as well as the endangered Turks and Caicos Islands rock iguana. Giants of the Deep: Whale Watching and Fishing Excursions
Stunning whale watching opportunities are available in Turks and Caicos, especially between January and March, when humpback whales migrate through these warm waters on their way to breeding grounds from colder areas to the north. Salt Cay is one of the premier whale watching spots due to its proximity to the Turks Island Passage, the deep channel that separates the Turks Islands from the Caicos Islands.
Although humpback whale watching is a seasonal activity, the waters around Turks and Caicos host dolphins that can be seen year-round. Deep-sea fishing charters are also available, and the shallow plateau that supports the islands drops off to 5,000-foot Atlantic waters just 15 minutes from Providenciales.
These depths offer blue water fishing for wahoo, mahi-mahi and sailfish during the colder months, and yellowfin tuna, tarpon and marlin during summer. Fishing the shallow flats for bonefish and barracuda is also available year-round.
Embracing the Spirit of Adventure
From paddling through vibrant mangroves to exploring colorful reefs and ocean depths, life in Turks and Caicos isn’t just about being near the water. It’s about engaging with it, and finding a deeper connection with the aquatic world.
